Allow myself to introduce…myself. My name is Matt Orlando, and I’ve been a gamer my entire life. I started out on a Commodore 64 and Atari, upgraded to the NES and Genesis, and continued on with each new generation of consoles. Of course I’ve been a PC gamer as well, and with the advent of smartphones, a mobile gamer too!

After graduating from NJIT with a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and a minor in Applied Mathematics, I discovered Full Sail University. I spent 2 years earning a second bachelor’s degree, this time in Game Design and Development. I had a great time, worked extremely hard, and managed to achieve Valedictorian in my class.

Once I completed my education I went to work at a couple of different companies, primarily as a lead programmer but with a fair amount of time designing as well. I worked quite a bit on UI, gameplay, application architecture, and game systems. Through these jobs I was able to develop on Xbox, Playstation, Wii, PC, and eventually iOS and Android. Along with the experience of developing on different platforms, I gained experience working with different publishers such as Rockstar and Square Enix.

After about a decade working in the industry, I decided it was time to carve my own path. With no capital to get started, I had to sell a gaming collection I’ve been building since I was a child – 34 consoles, thousands of games, hundreds of peripherals, and hundreds of antique gaming magazines.

While the company is in its infant stages, I look to the future with the goal of learning, adapting, and growing with the sole focus of bringing fun, quality games to people in all walks of life. From young to old, casual to hardcore, I want to create games that everyone can enjoy. Keep an eye out for the shark logo – you’ll know it’s a game built with the love and care of a developer that puts quality and enjoyment above all else.
